christmas 2008 would have been a big let down just for the fact that i spent most of it alone and at work (sige, taas kilay na...). i also never got to receive as much gifts as i usually do, nor had i had the time to do my christmas shopping too, which i find gratifying once i finish my list and knew i got everybody something they wanted or didn't know that they wanted. hehe!

but then i still can't bring myself to feel bad. how can i when i feel so blessed, blessed with people who loves me, blessed with great food (mama's here, so i have my kare kare for christmas..yeeeeaaaahhh!!!) and blessed with red horse. (picture me at the grocery spotting a tower of red horse, my version of giant christmas tree lang,, hahahahahaha!)

no, but seriously, there's nothing like being with your loved ones on Christmas, there was a moment (when i wasn't alone or at work) when i just look around me and watch all the commotion take place like i was watching a movie. mama cooking her famous karekare in the kitchen, paulo grilling like mad outside, the kids running and squealing around the house, my sisters and the rest trying to chase and calm them down, friends singing karaoke so loud you could hear it from a mile away, the cold winter breeze burning my face and keeping my beer cold at the same time...it was chaos, a war zone, but i loved it.

that's christmas right there, the sight, sound, taste, smell, feel...sure i had to leave early, and yes, i missed watching the kids open their presents, but then again, who was i to complain, i had my christmas wish, i got more than that actually. so yeah, try anything you can think of that can ruin my mood and see how far it would take you, as for this lady, i don't think there ever will be anything to stop me from being happy and contented -- not even my body bending dysmenorrhea :D

So Merry Christmas everyone! And i sincerely hope and pray you had what you wished for, like me :D

so you wont have a hard time buying gifts for me this christmas, here's my long list: (i know, ang aga)

1. Macbook
2. DSLR Camera
3. Diving Equip (in this order: mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, regulator, BCD, tank)
4. Dive trip (tubataha or kota k or apo reef or palau...keri na hehe)
5. Shopping spree at Ross/Home depot/Target
6. shoes, any kind with heels not higher than 2" (im 7 1/2)
7. my first ever havaianas (brazzziiiilllll)
8. a beanbag or a cool comfy chair
9. flat screen TV, hehe.
10. a year supply of booze (if beer, RH lang pls)
11. Art materials (any medium, from crayons and coloring books to canvass and acrylics)
12. Drumset or Kahon. (wlang pilosopo)
13. Oven. i want to bake.
14. punching bag and gloves
15. a leather basketball.


Of course, Money is always the best. that way you know i will get what i really want.

And look at it this way, if you give me any of my top 5, i can consider that as an early bday gift as well. hehe :)
