hey hey hey! meet my new baby kerbean! :) he's an argus bean camera, fits in my palm (almost) and has a latch which you can clip to your bag or pants. 8MP 28mm lens and some manual controls (white balance, etc), not bad, not bad at all.
actually he's not new anymore, i just failed to introduce him because of all the other things inside my battlefield of a brain. got him when my sister and i went to best buy to go buy her own laptop. of course, my sister ended up not buying one, and as for me, i came home with him.
i was just supposed to look for a cheap point and shoot cam since i already gave dexter to my sister and cousin to use. i know i cant tag along derek all the time so wanted a handy point and shoot for all those random moments.
lo and behold, i found him. he's water resistant too so i get to bring him with me by the beach, where i wont dare take derek anymore after that incident in lobo when we both were swallowed alive by that GINORMOUS wave (ok fine, it wasn't that big, and we weren't "swallowed" but he got wet and my top came off, so for us, it might as well be a tsunami. anyway, enough about the favorite child. hehehe!) can't take him underwater though, that's dewey's job. (who's films i really really need to start developing..its been a while)
he's quite useful for something i bought for like $50, but notice that white patch by his flash, had to put it there coz his flash can render people blind. he has a video mode too so its cool, something derek can't do.
we've been playing around it alot, i even dont mind the kids playing with it and taking their own pictures and videos. its cute actually. i'll upload an album of the photos taken with him next so you can see.
oo na, eto talaga ang kahinaan ko. one day i'll be homeless, pero yung bag ko panay camera ang laman..at shempre my epoy! hehe!

"in the hospital we see addiction everyday. its shocking how many kinds of addiction there is. it would be too easy if it was just drugs and booze and cigarettes. i think the hardest part of kicking a habit is wanting to kick it. i mean, we get addicted for a reason, right? often, too often, things that start out just as a normal part of your life at some point crosses the line. too obsessive, compulsive, out of control. its the high we're chasing, the high that makes everything else fade away.
the thing about addiction is it never ends well. because eventually whatever it is that was getting us high stops feeling good and starts to hurt. still they say you don't kick the habit until you hit rock bottom. but how do you know when you're there? because no matter how that thing is hurting us, sometimes letting it go hurts even worse." - Meredith Grey, Love/Addiction, s4 ep2
