and it opened up my eyes i saw the sign.. kumanta? hehehehe!
de, i'm just really been doing a lot of reflection and meditation lately (meditation includes sleeping for me hahahahaha!) somehow you could say that i'm asking for signs, and signs, i got a lot.
like watching "the Last Holiday" this weekend. in a way i'm a lot like the lead character, Gloria. I'm not going to die in 3weeks, but that is the mindset that i'm adapting from now on. to live like it's your last day. wouldn't that be a great way to live?
like her, i also have dreams, it may not be at par with some people's standards, but it is my dream. i don't think i was brought here to swim in a pool of money or have a yard full of paparazzi's. I don't enjoy being on the limelight and everyone who knows me knows that. I'm much happier sitting at the back, with my own little achievements.
i was also watching TV when someone being interviewed said something about "keeping it real" vs "MAKING it real". of course i can't remember where and when i heard it or who was talking exactly. but the phrase got stuck in my head.
there is a difference, if you think about it, with keeping it real and making it real. the problem with keeping it real sometimes is that you box yourself in your own "reality" and keep your dreams just "possibilities" when the real challenge really is to make your dreams REAL. as in so-tangible-you-can-hold-it real.
do i think that i'm such an idealist? no, im just making it real, man! :)

so you wont have a hard time buying gifts for me this christmas, here's my long list: (i know, ang aga)
1.
Macbook
2.
DSLR Camera
3. Diving Equip (in this order: mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, regulator, BCD, tank)
4. Dive trip (tubataha or kota k or apo reef or palau...keri na hehe)
5. Shopping spree at Ross/Home depot/Target
6. shoes, any kind with heels not higher than 2" (im 7 1/2)
7. my first ever havaianas (brazzziiiilllll)
8. a beanbag or a cool comfy chair
9. flat screen TV, hehe.
10.
a year supply of booze (if beer, RH lang pls)
11. Art materials (any medium, from crayons and coloring books to canvass and acrylics)
12. Drumset or Kahon. (wlang pilosopo)
13.
Oven. i want to bake.
14. punching bag and gloves
15. a leather basketball.
Of course, Money is always the best. that way you know i will get what i really want.
And look at it this way, if you give me any of my top 5, i can consider that as an early bday gift as well. hehe :)
