merry paskooooo! (isa nanamang mahaba-habang post ito)

December 23, 2007 it has been another tiring december.

the children's xmas party came and went. we managed to turn cardboard boxes into a cardboard manger and even had a storybook style Santa House, complete with a Xmas tree and fireplace. hehe! I became the inkeeper for the show on the last minute, when icabu got stuck in the horrifying traffic. it was fun but very tiring at the same time.

the night before that we had a shoot for our group presentation. finished everything in one night, so im very proud of my team. we didn't win, and it's ok. we had fun making a fool out of ourselves. hehehe!

dec 18 was ur staff party. everyone went home with something. and as i've mentioned, we didn't win the group presentation. Ms Ros and sophie's team did a good job on theirs, they really deserved to win. (Congrats guys! you can watch their video here) it was "Come as who/what you want to be night" so, yes, i went as a director. hehe!

it was really fun. we had exeptional hosts and hostesses, i felt like i was in a comedy bar, panalo! but the best part of it was when my named was called for the eagle award. I wasnt even listening anymore, i was just taking video of everthing. the eagle award was one of the highest award one can get. i always thought it was for seniors, so I wasn't paying attention anymore while mother was explaining it.

so just imagine what my reaction was when i was called. i didn't even stand up yet, i looked at the back (as if there's another Ciara who's going to stand up and take the award) then realized, teka lang, ako ata yun. i stood up so suddenly, im not sure whether i turned the video off already. i stood at the middle and i...bowed? hahahahah! anlabo..and i waved pa ata. sobrang di ko talaga alam, para akong lasing. feeling ko parang may nagsabi pa na kunin ko yung award bago ko naalala na wala pa pala sakin. hahahahahahhahaha! swear, i didn't know what the heck i was doing, or why i got that award. it was just so....i dont know...supercalifragelisticexpialidocious?!! hahahaha! parang oscar best actress award..buti di ako nagspeech sa sobrang kalutangan.

it didn't sink in agad. everyone was congratulating me, i wanted to cry. so when yam asked if i wanted to go to the CR, i said yes right away. but before i could stop it, jumie appeared from the corner, and there you go, umiyak na ko. (shiyet kaaA)

anyway, im really really happy, parang birthday ko. hahaha! basta. ansaya. thanks for everyone who thought i deserved that award. until now im at a loss kung pano ko nakuha yun pero super salamat po.

guys, i have a new boyfriend. he's someone that i have dreamed of for at least 3 years now. but just last thurs, we've finally met, and in a few moments, he became mine. sure, it sounds like a record, even for me. 5 mins, and we're in love. but id like to think of it as a 3-years-in-the-making love affair. i think i've waited long enough...

so you guys might think, how about alvin? well, we're still good. he knows about him, we have his approval.i told him that he has to deal with the fact that from now on, he'll be sharing me with someone else...



guys, meet my new baby, derek. hehehe. he's a Canon 400D, machogwapitooooo!!

todo na to!! i had a hard time naming him. first it was clifford, (kasi C[for Canon]liff[Four][D]) pero kulang ng macho gwapito factor...then Cameron, pero pa-cute parin..then i thought, he's the man of my dreams, why not name him after McDreamy, right? so derek it is! hehe!

got him last thurs. so guys, pano ba yan, expect more photos... i'll be uploading photos from our barkada's xmas party in a while, and some random shots. grabe, i couldn't sleep when i got him. i was like a little kid on christmas day. i can't stand still. i had about 20 shots of my bed headboard in different angles and settings.hahahaha! and of course the camwhore shots with the canon lens cap. grabe, i was so happy, i didnt need coffee to wake me up the next day even if i havn't had enough sleep.

but as Ms. Rosahlee told me, simula palang ng gastos ito. waaaaaah! i'm eying the EF70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens..i hate it..nung una 50-200mm lang eh...waaaaaaah! i'll be a street beggar soon,,pero naka DSLR. ahahahaha! ALAVET!

2. DSLR Camera
3. Diving Equip (in this order: mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, regulator, BCD, tank)
4. Dive trip (tubataha or kota k or apo reef or palau...keri na hehe)
5. Shopping spree at Ross/Home depot/Target
6. shoes, any kind with heels not higher than 2" (im 7 1/2)
7. my first ever havaianas (brazzziiiilllll)
8. a beanbag or a cool comfy chair
9. flat screen TV, hehe.
10. a year supply of booze (if beer, RH lang pls)
11. Art materials (any medium, from crayons and coloring books to canvass and acrylics)
12. Drumset or Kahon. (wlang pilosopo)
13. Oven. i want to bake.
14. punching bag and gloves
15. a leather basketball.


Of course, Money is always the best. that way you know i will get what i really want.

And look at it this way, if you give me any of my top 5, i can consider that as an early bday gift as well. hehe :)
