October 03, 2007 Lately nalalng ako naging hooked sa evening news. Before, i'd automatically change the channel when the clock strikes 6. I was too cool to care (yes kanta...nahawa sa name study), maybe because I've been brought up in a nice home and social and political issues seem so distant to me.

But moving out changed that. It became an eye-opener...like that jolt you feel sometimes when you're about to sleep. Fending for my own gave me a taste of the bitter truth..now i see just how much everything is interrelated.

According to the latest SWS survey, almost 4Million Filipinos have gone hungry for the last month, 4 Million, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It's the worst we've seen since 1998.

I pay how many thousands of peso a month on Taxes. It's ok that I don't get the direct effects of it, but please, do something good with it!

Eh baka mas paburan ko pa ang jueteng, at least may mga nagkakatrabaho, nakakakain. para san kasi ang tax kung wala ka naman nakikitang pinatutunguhan nun kundi bulsa ng kung sino sinong politiko...KALOKOHAN!

Pakita nyo munang nagagamit sa tama yung binabayaran ko kada-buwan bago ko maniwalang umuunlad na nga tong bansang to. sayang, sinasayang nyo ang Pinas pati mga kakayahan ng Pinoy. Imbis tuloy na sa mabuti napuputa ang talentong pinoy, nalilihis at mas nagagamit sa panguutak at panlilinlang. sayang.

On a much lighter note, i finished watching Grey's, the complete season 3. (as in promise, the "wedding" and everything) Panay dibidi kasi pinagbibibili, ayan kulang kulang...buti nalang may... oopppss, sorry guys, im in no liberty to tell pa where i watch, sworn to secrecy. pasensya na... hehehehe!

Anyway, shiyet, yun lang masasabi ko, shiyet. ang galing. game panoorin nyo naaaa (i think they're showing the missing episodes now on studio 23, the last time i saw it, yung spin-off episode na to private practice. kaya game, last 2 episodes of season 3!)

can't wait for season 4...

speaking of next seasons, house has season 3 out, and they say season 3 of Prison break is on youtube already. hmmm..gotta see it for myself. hehehehe!

3. Diving Equip (in this order: mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, regulator, BCD, tank)
4. Dive trip (tubataha or kota k or apo reef or palau...keri na hehe)
5. Shopping spree at Ross/Home depot/Target
6. shoes, any kind with heels not higher than 2" (im 7 1/2)
7. my first ever havaianas (brazzziiiilllll)
8. a beanbag or a cool comfy chair
9. flat screen TV, hehe.
10. a year supply of booze (if beer, RH lang pls)
11. Art materials (any medium, from crayons and coloring books to canvass and acrylics)
12. Drumset or Kahon. (wlang pilosopo)
13. Oven. i want to bake.
14. punching bag and gloves
15. a leather basketball.


Of course, Money is always the best. that way you know i will get what i really want.

And look at it this way, if you give me any of my top 5, i can consider that as an early bday gift as well. hehe :)
