no, the sun isn't turning to ice. i'm hoping that we still have millions of years before that event happens. it's just that...i can't think of any other title for this random post. hehe
it was hard to think of something to blog about, given that this has been a slow week, and nothing much really happened. except that our office is really REALLY cold again. and yeah, i have a suncell# now. so anyone out there who has one, if you want to be bugged over the long weekends ahead, send me a PM for your numbers. :)
i got Samsung X510 free with the line, my first clamshell phone. so far, im ok with it,
except that i don't know how to turn off the sound on the camera controls. it sounds like im operating a machine from startrek whenever i adjust the brightness and when i zoom in or out. it even has that camera click that sounds more like a cat getting hit by a truck than a camera shutter. damn all you up-skirt photogs! how can i stalk my crushes now?? HAHAHAHA! Ang concerns... *rolls eyes* i take that back. apparently, the camera shuts up on silent mode. YEY! HAHA! ayan kasi, hindi nagbabasa ng manual! hahaha!)
anyway, looking forward to the workless week ahead. filed for leave on the 2 remaining working days. hehe. at last, i can finish all the books that have become a coffee table of some sort since i only go home now to eat, sleep, take a bath and go back to the office. oh, and watch marimar, too. hahaha! we're going to cavite, as usual. so that would surely be laid back.
if you can't reach me, then maybe im by the beach, making sure none of my little nephews and neices are drowning, or maybe playing basketball or tennis somewhere, or maybe talking to vin...coz we're on suncell now! wahahaha! sulit ang 333 kong bayad sa unang linggo palang ng november. Yari ang network ng sun,,IM BAAAAACK...AHAHAHA!

Memoirs of a Woman who Stood Last
this has been lying around my hardware for quite some time now. I guess, unconsciously, i knew, i could only post it when I myself, fully believe every word of it. so, gad, bear with another emo post guys. hehehe! (you guessed right, it's that time of the month, yet again)When people say that you're the "last man standing", it is usually an indication of strength or perseverance. in short, it's supposed be a compliment.
but to those like me, it could mean a whole different thing, coz while some look at it as an achievement, to me, it just shows how much i've lost.
This One morning, i happen to switch to a music channel. and i laughed out loud when i heard a familiar tune. But it also dawned on me that like most of the good ol' days, singing "stop" with the original "spice girls" or those special videoke duets with my closest friends, might just remain as a memory to me.
I can still remember those days when we rent a videoke room just for the heck of it. we each have a signature song, and of course, a couple of duets which we somehow "perfected" during the numerous times we willingly became 5 peso poorer to sing our heart out. Now, I have my own videoke to abuse, but i find that it's not as much fun as when we were complete.
yes, it does get harder and harder to look at photographs of a group wherein you are one of the few who are left behind -- and admitting that memories are all you have left. but still, you can't complain because you know such memories are pretty damn hard to replace.

Lately nalalng ako naging hooked sa evening news. Before, i'd automatically change the channel when the clock strikes 6. I was too cool to care (yes kanta...nahawa sa name study), maybe because I've been brought up in a nice home and social and political issues seem so distant to me.
But moving out changed that. It became an eye-opener...like that jolt you feel sometimes when you're about to sleep. Fending for my own gave me a taste of the bitter truth..now i see just how much everything is interrelated.
Welcome to the real world, kid.

According to the latest SWS survey, almost 4Million Filipinos have gone hungry for the last month, 4 Million, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It's the worst we've seen since 1998.
I pay how many thousands of peso a month on Taxes. It's ok that I don't get the direct effects of it, but please, do something good with it!
Eh baka mas paburan ko pa ang jueteng, at least may mga nagkakatrabaho, nakakakain. para san kasi ang tax kung wala ka naman nakikitang pinatutunguhan nun kundi bulsa ng kung sino sinong politiko...KALOKOHAN!
Pakita nyo munang nagagamit sa tama yung binabayaran ko kada-buwan bago ko maniwalang umuunlad na nga tong bansang to. sayang, sinasayang nyo ang Pinas pati mga kakayahan ng Pinoy. Imbis tuloy na sa mabuti napuputa ang talentong pinoy, nalilihis at mas nagagamit sa panguutak at panlilinlang. sayang.

On a much lighter note, i finished watching Grey's, the complete season 3. (as in promise, the "wedding" and everything) Panay dibidi kasi pinagbibibili, ayan kulang kulang...buti nalang may... oopppss, sorry guys, im in no liberty to tell pa where i watch, sworn to secrecy. pasensya na... hehehehe!
Anyway, shiyet, yun lang masasabi ko, shiyet. ang galing. game panoorin nyo naaaa (i think they're showing the missing episodes now on studio 23, the last time i saw it, yung spin-off episode na to private practice. kaya game, last 2 episodes of season 3!)
can't wait for season 4...
speaking of next seasons, house has season 3 out, and they say season 3 of Prison break is on youtube already. hmmm..gotta see it for myself. hehehehe!
